BIG CHORDS IN Bb
You’re welcome to another lesson. Today we’ll be looking at what I called big chords in the key of Bb.
Most of these chords are actually familiar, but it will help you in the long run. It’s actually a 1-6-5-4 and 1-7-6-4-5 progression. Some passing chords will be included to bring out the fullness in the progression. Here we go: The first progression; (remember Left hand/right hand) BbFA/CDFBbD 6 GDA/BbDFA 5 FDF/GCDF 4 EbBbF/GBbDF 4 EbBbF/GACF The second progression: BbFA/CDFA 7 AFA/CFAC 6 GDA/BbDFA ED/AbBbDF=== passing tone 4 EbBbF/GACF GbE/AbBEbGb===passing tone. 5 FEb/ABbDF 5 FEb/ABEbGb Don’t only learn these chords and relax. Make sure you incorporate it into your playing. Remember transposing won’t let you grow. We all have to grow. See ya next time on another tutorial.
